Monastic Life

At Rombodhidharma International Temple we have received visitors from around the world, including Canada, the USA, Europe, the UK, Australia, and South America. We also have many visitors, and growing communities, from China, Vietnam, Taiwan, and Laos.

Visitors and residents are welcome to offer their help and support to the temple community, whether it’s helping out at the garbage and recycling site, cooking for the temple community, picking vegetables and rice planting, or helping out at the horse stables. These activities are ways to practice selfless compassion by giving and sacrificing.

Some of our visitors decide to ordain at the temple as monks or nuns. Have a look at the galleries below to see the things our visitors and residents get up to.
